Benefits of WACQOL Membership

  • Networking The WACQOL has members from a broad range of health professionals, including allied-health professionals, Chinese practitioners, clinicians, nurses, social workers, psychometricians, statisticians, and more. The members cover Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and more.
  • Leadership Opportunities: All full members are eligible to become a member in the Council/Executive Committee.

Membership Types and Requirements

The members of the WACQOL are divided into the Life Members, Full Members, Associate Members, and Student Members.

  • Life Members are persons qualified as full members, and who have paid a once-for-all subscription fee of HK$3,000.

  • Full Members are professionals in healthcare, social services, or other related disciplines, approved by the Council. They shall be voting members and can be elected to the Council. They must paid a subscription fee of HK$300 each year or HK$1,500 for every 5 years.

  • Associate Members are people who are interested in the objects of the Association. They shall enjoy all the privileges of full members except that they shall not be entitled to vote at general meetings and not eligible for election to the Council. All Associate Members shall need to pay an annual subscription fee of HK$150.

  • Student Members are applicable to people who are pursuing a course of study in healthcare, social services and other related disciplines. They shall not be entitled to vote at general meetings and not eligible for election to the Council. The annual subscription fee is HK$100.

Application of membership should be submitted through our online membership registration system. All membership needs to be approved by the Council.
